MDW2026 – New L’Ottocento Flagship Store

On April 20th, L’Ottocento opened the doors of its new Milanese Flagship Store: a universe where material and design merge into bespoke furnishings with a personalized design approach. It is an invitation to rediscover the value of high-quality, timeless craftsmanship, conceived to give shape to premium living. The Art Direction and Styling were curated by Studio Russo Sgarbossa, while the Lighting Design is the work of Contrastodesign.

Atlante + Virtus

A sophisticated material pairing of Noce Milano and vintage steel defines this environment, where the Atlante boiserie structures itself fluidly from the kitchen to the living area, alternating closed compartments with open elements.

Virtus Island

The Virtus island, in brushed steel with brass profiles, stands out for the original three-dimensional effect of the door, harmonizing with cylindrical bases that lend lightness to the geometry. The project is completed by technical details from Gaggenau, Nobili, and Bang & Olufsen, while the Rosso Lepanto marble of the Meridiana table elegantly enhances the dining area.

From the kitchen and living room, L’Ottocento’s artisanal mastery continues, completing a living concept rich in personality and functional to the needs of contemporary life. With its enveloping material effect, the lacquered Floral wooden boiserie becomes an icon of boundless design, playing a key role in sophisticated environments. Here, the Gea table designed by Russo Sgarbossa, crafted in Verde Alpi marble, is complemented by Ottavia chairs featuring Rubelli fabric.

Levante + Etesia

The Levante storage boiserie, in a polished Verde Inglese lacquer, clothes the environment with its characteristic wave-like craftsmanship, in dialogue with the Etesia columns and wall units in Noce Canaletto Silky Brown. In an enveloping atmosphere, the materiality of the Verde Alpi marble tops embraces the unique square island, creating a natural balance between shapes and colors. The project, enriched by Neff, Irinox, and Nobili features, is completed by the Dioniso sideboard in liquid metal, while the elegant door with portholes marks the fluid transition to the meeting area.

L’Ottocento’s artisanal skill is expressed throughout the exhibition space, including the Archetipo bathroom furnishings in Noce Canaletto—paired with a Quartz top and a matching vessel sink—and the wooden cladding of the staircase with a curved ceiling leading to the lower floor.

In this space, the Floral kitchen expresses its full romantic allure in the new Calce lacquered version. The doors with linear frames are accompanied by a large portal, decorated with hand-carved friezes and designed to house the imposing hood and the Ilve cooking block. Calacatta Arabescato marble embellishes both the backsplash and the island top.
